MSU Students Arrested For Labelling ED A Mad Person On Whatsapp
Two students who were graduating at the Midlands State University (MSU) were arrested on charges of undermining the authority of or insulting President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The students, Prince Talent Kamutsamba (22) and Lloyd Zata (25) were arrested for calling the President a mad person and for saying that they would burn him in one of the school halls. Al these things were said in a group on popular social media platform Whatsapp.

Since the July 30 harmonised elections, the authorities have been cracking down on all perceived insults to the President. Binga South MP Joel Gabbuza was recently arrested and charged with undermining the authority of or insulting the President after he called President Emmerson Mnangagwa a “dog” with no capacity to solve the country’s economic problems at a funeral.
